In 2018, the founder of iBlackbelt, Rodrigo Beirão, invited us to help rethink the brand, which was entering a new phase and needed an identity with more personality, with a consistent unity through all its contact points and that effectively translated its essence.

Among the main problems reported by the client and diagnosed in a first phase of immersion in the context of the brand, were the lack of clarity in the brand strategy; the difficulty of applying and developing new content, as it does not have a consistent visual identity; and the very understanding of the brand name, which was read only as "Blackbelt" due to the contrast and shape of the typography.
The iBlackbelt transits between two very distinct worlds: that of fighting and that of technology. We kept the original idea of representing a black belt, the most advanced in the graduation system of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, as a reference to the quality and expertise of the company. However, we also brought the vertical bars as a reference to the digital universe, in addition to optimizing the readability of the letter "i", another blackbelt with a red tip (not so) hidden in the logo.
