A zine manifesto created from the speech of Ailton Krenak at the 1987 Constituent Assembly. This was the final project of the 5 Simple Exercises course by Guilherme Falcão.
I produced a small print run of 25 copies that were sold to raise approximately R$1100 in donations for the Afro-Indigenous Center of Rio Grande do Sul.

When looking for a text to use in the project, I came across a speech by Ailton Krenak from the 1987 Constituent Assembly, which unfortunately remains current.
Graphic design makes the elegance, poignancy and rhythm of your oratory tangible. Red sets the tone of urgency, representing the blood of indigenous peoples shed since the discovery of Brazil.

The black margins make Ailton's protest tangible visually but also sensorially, through the application of a thin layer of charcoal dust. When handling, the fingers end up turning black, symbolically showing that, one way or another, we all have dirty hands in this story.
